What I'm Reading Now

Michael lives in my neighborhood. I do not know him but I see him around all the time. This book (his first) was named one of the top 10 best books of 2007 by the NY Times Book Review. He also just won the Impac Dublin Literary Award.

What I Just Read

My rating:

(I need to cry for 5 stars.)

Janelle interviewed me eons ago for Salon.com. She's a sassy lady who's super nice. This is her first novel. It received rave reviews and I loved every minute of it.

Meet Bob

From Leigh B.

"My poor dog Bob. He is a 5-year-old Beagle/Dachshund mix. I love dressing him up partly for how cute he is and partly for the despondent look he gets.

The first two pics are Christmas cards I sent out. The first being titled "Oh Tannenbob" and the second is titled "Fleas Navibob."

The third is not a Christmas card, but it's a good example of how dejected he can look.

I am sure he dreams of my torture in his sleep."

Meet Charlie and Simon

From Rebecca T....

"Here are a couple of picture of Simon (yellow dog) and Charlie (brown dog.)

Simon loves peanut butter and Maxim magazine...

And Charlie is a big fan of tomato stakes and is a reformed poop eater. (He would only eat Simon's, never his own.)"

Meet Luca "Lu Lu"

From LBluca77

"This is Luca, but recently she has preferred to go by Lu Lu. She is quite the diva.

She is known for being a busybody, always snooping on the neighbors. She reminds me of the old lady that would snoop from her stoop on 227.

She likes to Winter in the Swiss Alps.

And Summer at the beach.

And when she's not off gallivanting she's busy saving the planet."

Meet Scarlet, Sahara, and Sawyer

From Amanda C....

This is Scarlet (Cairn Terrier) and Sahara (Yorkie.)

Sahara has recently started humping Scarlet... it's fabulous.

This is Sawyer (Silky Terrier.)

I'm pretty sure he's gay or at least metrosexual... He likes to keep it to him and his stuffed animals :)
