I'm at my sister's house in Connecticut. I had to come here and pick up Elvis. Poor little bugger... I missed him.

Anywho, Nora has to memorize a Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme for school next week, so my sister and I are trying to find a good one for her.

If I had to read one, this is the one I'd pick:

New Secret Craft Project

So I am starting a new craft project but I can't write about it because it's for my sister and it's a surprise. But I want to tell you about it so I'm trying to figure out a way to do that and prevent her from reading it.

If I tell her not to read the posts about it, she won't. But if she's scrolling through my blog one day and there's a post about it, I'm sure she'll pick up a few words about it as well as see the pictures and that would blow the secret.

Maybe I'll write the posts out and then take a picture of them, so they'll be an image. And then to read them you'll have to click a link.

Snuggie

I got my Snuggie! I got my Snuggie! Mark and David got me one as a joke, but the thing is, I really wanted one! It was supposed to be there when I went to LA but it took, like, six weeks to arrive and they just got it last week.

I'm wearing it right now. And I'm typing. I can do that because it has sleeves!

Nora and I were recently standing in front of an Ethos water display at Starbucks. On it was a picture of a little girl with words to the effect of, "Buying this water will help her realize her dream of becoming a doctor..." yada yada.

I pointed to the picture.

Me: She wants to be a doctor when she grows up. Do you want to be a doctor?
Nora: No...
Me: What do you want to be?
Nora (throwing her hands up in the air): Why do I have to be anything?
