20 Times a Lady Movie Deal

Okay, I know I've been missing for a while, but I've been CRAZY busy. I'll update you on my trip to LA in a bit, but first... I have exciting news. New Line Cinema has optioned the rights to my new book, 20 Times a Lady, for a feature film and hired me to write the screenplay. Yay!

Here are links to the articles in today's trades:

you can read a screencap of the article here.)

I'm obviously very excited and I'm thrilled to be working with people who love the book. I put my heart and soul into writing it (it took me a year to do so) and I hope everybody likes it.

Yay Melissa!!!!!!!!!!! BTW, cute baby. I'm a new aunt and I'm OBSESSED with giving my rolly-polly niece a bath. I love putting lotion on her arms and legs between all her little jelly baby rolls.

That is incredible!! I'm sure you will save others with this book, somehow.

I can't wait to see it. But I will read the book first. The book is always better........unless of course you are in the movie too, then they will be both just as awesome!

BTW, who are you going to get to play you in the other movie!! hum.......

Was Save Karyn ever made into a movie? It is one of my favorites - I have read it three times! But I was very disappointed the last time I read it about Brad - did you ever call him again? He sounded hot. Best of luck!

I just returned from a trip to NYC with my mom, and while we were there we shoppeed at the Fresh store on Bleecker St. where I purchased some Lychee lotion & shower gel. Subsequently I thought of you Karyn, as you were the one who introducted me to this expensive habit. (ps: They lowered their prices!) After returning home, I just had to visit your website and am excited to see you have a new book out. I purchased your first book and read it cover to cover. For the longest time, I visited your website almost daily and considered it to be one of my favorite guilty pleasures. I was disappointed when you didn't answer several e-mails I sent. (This was back in 2003 after the big debt was paid off.)Regardless...still a huge fan and can't wait to buy the new book!

Movie Suggestion: Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Irish love interest on Grey's Anatomy and P.S I Love You) would make a very very sexy Colin for the movie.. great legs and abs!

Congrats! My Aussie friends and I luuurve 'Twenty Times a Lady', it will make a fabulous movie!
