You jealous bitches. ;)
I told a friend today that I think I suffer from post-traumatic stress syndrome from all the criticism I took during the whole savekaryn.com thing. Whenever I see articles like these, I initially want to barf. But then I realize that it's all going to be okay.
Yay! I've been so excited about this but was waiting to say something until it was announced... Anna Faris is attached to star in the movie adaptation of 20 Times a Lady! Columbia Pictures is set to produce.
From Reuters/Hollywood Reporter...
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Capitalizing on her "House Bunny" hit, Anna Faris has set up two romantic comedy projects.Paramount has picked up an untitled pitch about two estranged sisters who team up to land a husband. Faris would both star and serve as an executive producer.
Additionally, Columbia has acquired "20 Times a Lady" as a starring vehicle for Faris. The project, based on a book by Karyn Bosnak, centers on a woman who goes on a trek through her sexual past in an effort to find Mr. Right, exploring the idea of a person's sexual quota and whether those numbers matter.

Is it just me, or are other people having problems viewing this blog in Firefox today? It loads quickly in Safari and I can see it fine, but in Firefox it spins and spins and spins and doesn't load.
I don't know what's wrong.
I am mute today. I have no voice. None. Gone. Bye.
So even though I feel a thousand times better today than yesterday, I feel helpless because I can't talk.

...who these guys are, but they were cute so I just pulled out my camera and took a picture of them. (I'm very ballsy when I've been drinking.)
There were actually three of them. Foxy on the left (who was actually in the middle—the guy on the left got cut out) smiled at me. And the dude on the right in the sunglasses (because it's sunny in the subway) looked down.
I dunno... I just like this pic... that's all.
So, remember when I told you about the documentary called A Table In Heaven about Sirio Maccione, the owner/founder of the famous New York restaurant Le Cirque? Well, it was purchased by HBO and is going to air at the end of the month. I'll keep you posted about the day and time and you'll have to watch because not only is it AMAZING, but you can see my name at the end in the credits (because I'm an investor.) Neat!
Anywho, tonight is the official New York screening, followed by a big party at Le Cirque. Even though I'm sick, I'm going anyway because let's be honest... what doesn't booze and good food cure?
So anyway, if you're at the party tonight and you see me...
(NOTE: I look like this:
.)
...you might want to turn the other way because I probably have germs.
PS - I will not be carrying Peeps.

(Yes, they do go together.)
Welcome to my 2008 holiday shopping list made up of shops and stores that are owned and/or operated by the wonderful readers of this blog! (I've added a couple charities to the mix as well!) Check out their goods... buy them as gifts... and support each other in the process! Times are tight, so let's all band together.
WARNING: Some of the stuff you are about to see is WAY cute. Keep reading at your own risk.
Embittermints
LOVE these. Embittermints are breath mints with cheeky expressions like BUZZ OFF, BITE ME, and YO MAMA carved into them. In addition to being sold at a number of stores, they're also sold on the Embittermints website. They're a fun gift (the perfect stocking stuffer) and a great conversation piece. Embittermints... so mean, so minty.

Remember when Andie gave me some Cafe du Monde beignet mix? Well, with the help of a lovely little girl, I made them Thanksgiving morning.
Am I the only person who doesn't find Thomas Beatie, the pregnant man, all that fascinating?
I mean, he was born a woman, that's how he's able to have babies.
